AfterSchool Programs

Currently, our two programs we are offering are:

TechSpert After Class

Nationally, less than 10% of schools in the United States have STEM education as a focus; conversely, the disparity is even wider in urban schools. Though STEM jobs grow at 3x the rate of non-STEM jobs, many American students are not prepared to fill these jobs, due in part to the lack of exposure in their early education years. We seek to disrupt this trend, and through partnership with schools and community-based organizations, we designed a TechSpert afterschool program model, where we develop and implement programs with a differentiated approach to learning STEM, in order to enable all students, regardless of their diverse learning styles, to tap into their natural abilities for STEM and generate a STEM identity of their own, with realized success.

Our interactive and highly engaging programs are Mondays - Fridays, 3pm - 6pm. We teach kids how to create their own games and apps, create inventions using engineering and design concepts, and develop critical thinking skills through hands-on tech, Engineering, Science and Math-infused sports learning activities.

Monthly TechFests

Our monthly TechFests are structured similar to a hackathon or Maker event, whereby we facilitate a 4-5 hour session on a Saturday, once a month, and usually in collaboration with a tech partner or university. In our TechFests, students engage in intensives related to Coding, Engineering & Design, or Maker activities. In addition, students receive a robust overview of concepts and knowledge pertaining to the STEM field in which they are experiencing with us. The objective of every TechFest is to ensure that each student produces a product that is tangible, and receives the support they need from our gurus and techsperts to realize success .
